Sunday provided us with a weather day that started out feeling like late spring or early summer.
A tornado warning was issued for Allen- Paulding- Putnam- and Van Wert Counties on Sunday afternoon around 5pm.
Strong winds- along with showers and thunderstorms- and scattered power outages- were all a part of what turned out to be an eventful Sunday.
The heaviest damage in our area seemed to take place in the Cloverdale area in Putnam County.
Saint Barbara’s Church and the rectory suffered major damage from high winds..Several homes and mobile homes in the surrounding area also saw damage- and reports of several power lines down as well.
Our weather gets back to normal this week- as temperatures have already fallen back to more of a fall-like feel.
