Lima, Ohio (WIMA) - During the Allen County Commissioners meeting on Thursday- a new Ohio Bridge Partnership that will replace bridges in Allen County was announced by O-DOT.
In an effort between O-DOT and the Ohio County Engineers will spend 1-hundred million dollars to replace two hundred bridges in Ohio across three years.
Kirk Slusher with O-DOT- talked about the first bridges in Allen County that will be replaced.
Allen County will benefit from the replacement of seven bridges that are currently posted with weight limits or closed.
The first three bridges to be replaced are located on Lincoln Highway- one just east of Gomer- and the third on Ream Road- and they have scheduled to be replaced by November.
