Deer Taken During Gun Season Lower than Last Year's Totals

Over 75-thousand white-tailed deer have been claimed by Ohio hunters- during the weeklong gun hunting season last week.

In Allen County- 380 were bagged- which is down from 393 one year ago.

Auglaize County hunters nabbed 299- well off the pace of 362 in 20-12.

Other numbers involving area counties include Hardin with 544- Mercer with 219- Putnam with 255- and Van Wert had 214.
